The Property

Breathtaking waterfront views and lovely gardens

Do you like fishing? Guests frequently catch bass, catfish, and other pan fish from the river. If fishing is not your style, you can always just relax by the waterfront and watch the river pass by.

The Prairie Trail

The Prairie Trail travels from the Kane County border on the south to just short of the Wisconsin State Line to the north, connecting eight McHenry County communities along the way.

The Fox River Trail

Largely in Kane County, the trail connects the communities of Algonquin, Carpentersville, Dundee, Elgin, South Elgin, St. Charles, Geneva, Batavia, North Aurora. 32 miles of biking, hiking and cross-country skiing featuring some of the most scenic trails of the Fox River. Points of interest include Carpenters Dam, Fox River Shores, Tyler Creek, Voyageur Landing, Shoemaker Nature Center and Fabyan Forest Preserve.
